    Happy Tuesday my lovelies! I hope you all enjoyed your three day weekend (Happy Veterans Day to all of our vets, past and present, and to the number one veteran in my life, Papa CCB). Never forget. Last week, I asked y’all on Instagram via my feed and a stories poll if I should write a blog post on which designer shoes that have a cult-like following are actually worth the hype (and the price tag to match).     Happy Monday my lovelies! New month, new week, new goals – cheesy I know. But it actually rings true for me. I start my new Style Advisor job today and I’m high key excited! Last week was my final week of being funemployed so I made sure to go out with a bang. I even did something that I don’t normally do: I went to a blogger event. I don’t normally go to them because it feels like high school and I’m too old for that crap but I’m trying to be less anti-social so I went. I put on my Wednesday best and had a good time. Since it was in the 60s that day (and let’s be honest, I really wanted to wear my new sweater too) I planned my outfit around this gorgeous pumpkin oversized sweater. (more…)

    Whew, it’s been a minute since I posted on here. And for that I apologize. I got so busy with work and spending time with my new beau that I didn’t have time to create content that was up to my blog posting standards. I’ve still been on Instagram though as it’s easier to communicate and engage there. I like for everything to be perfect from all angles in order to be worthy of posting on the blog – which is a big reason why I don’t post that often. That’s going to change though. I need to get off my high horse and post even when my content isn’t perfect. But I digress. Let’s get to this outfit.
