I had the pleasure of going to see The Lion King musical at The Orpheum Theater in San Francisco last night. My mommy was my plus one as she had been wanting to see the show and loves the theater as much as I do. And as someone who remembers when the original Lion King movie came out in theaters (I was 9 years old) and loved it, seeing it in musical form was incredible! The cast did their big one and the sets and orchestra were on point. We laughed, I still cried when Mufasa died, and we enjoyed every single minute of the production. And we couldn’t leave without grabbing some merchandise for some of our relatives (my sister loves tour merch). The show is running until December 30th so if you have the opportunity to see it before it’s over, GO! I’m already trying to plan to go again! #thelionkingmusical #gifted #ad

After browsing the holiday gift guides online, I had a few ideas for what I wanted to gift my parents this year going in. But their in-store selection was so good that I went in a totally different direction! With the help of Desi and Sandra, I chose pieces that were thoughtful yet impactful for my mom and dad without breaking the bank. I had this @madewell Giana coat in my cart for weeks and it finally went on sale yesterday for 40 percent off! If you’re thinking about getting it though it runs HUGE. I am wearing a size 2 (I’m normally a 4/6 in their coats) with a thick sweater underneath and have zero issues with the fit. It is selling out quickly though so get on it!

PS. @jesicaelise and @chanelfiles inspired me to bring my Speedy 25 back outside. It’s such a vibe with this fit!

I purchased this @zara choker last week and I couldn’t wait to style it! I’m really proud of how this look turned out to let the choker shine. For the top, I rolled in the collar of my denim jacket and buttoned it asymmetrically. You don’t always have to have a certain item in your closet to achieve the look you want!
