    Happy Monday my lovelies! New month, new week, new goals – cheesy I know. But it actually rings true for me. I start my new Style Advisor job today and I’m high key excited! Last week was my final week of being funemployed so I made sure to go out with a bang. I even did something that I don’t normally do: I went to a blogger event. I don’t normally go to them because it feels like high school and I’m too old for that crap but I’m trying to be less anti-social so I went. I put on my Wednesday best and had a good time. Since it was in the 60s that day (and let’s be honest, I really wanted to wear my new sweater too) I planned my outfit around this gorgeous pumpkin oversized sweater. (more…)

    I announced on Instagram last weekend that I would be doing a series called “Weekend Edit” every Friday during the fall months. In these blog posts I will be taking a Fall essential piece (top, bottom, or shoes) and styling it two ways: an off duty Saturday and a Sunday brunch look.     Whew, it’s been a minute since I posted on here. And for that I apologize. I got so busy with work and spending time with my new beau that I didn’t have time to create content that was up to my blog posting standards. I’ve still been on Instagram though as it’s easier to communicate and engage there. I like for everything to be perfect from all angles in order to be worthy of posting on the blog – which is a big reason why I don’t post that often. That’s going to change though. I need to get off my high horse and post even when my content isn’t perfect. But I digress. Let’s get to this outfit.
