A Foreword for Going Forward
Hey y’all! With today being New Years Eve and all, I wanted to take some time out to not only look back at 2016 and all of the fantastic things that have happened this year but also to set my expectations for going forward in 2017. But first, let’s recap.
2016 was amazing for sooooooo many reasons. First, CCB Diaries grew in ways that I could have never imagined. And I have all of you to thank for that. So thank you all for your continued support and for the positive vibes you send my way. I may not always respond to every comment I get on social media but I do read them. And on those days where I’m feeling down, or overwhelmed, or just want to quit, your comments literally lift my spirits and make my day. Second, the blog wouldn’t be what it is without my team. Even though I started the year with Kristin and ended it with Ricky behind the lens, both of them are amazing photographers that I have had the privilege to work with on this journey. They put up with my perfectionism week in and week out and bring my creative visions to life. And Kathy and Monique over at Slique Hair Studio are the best hairstylists in NYC and I’m fortunate enough to have them on my team to keep my hair laid and my edges snatched for the blog shoots and events I attend…yaaaas!
Instead of resolutions, I prefer to do a vision board and a list of all of the things I want to accomplish during the year. I keep the vision board at home and the list as the wallpaper on my cellphone so that I stay focused. But actions speak louder than words ever could so I hope y’all are ready for what I have in store for 2017. I’ve been working tirelessly on some projects in the background that I can’t wait to share with y’all. I hope that you continue to follow me along on this journey and that I can continue to be a source of style inspiration for you. And 2017 better get ready for me because I’m coming for you! #amberrichele
Have a safe and prosperous New Year!
xoxo, CCB

I’m just like you sweetie! To heck with resolutions. Why promise something you might not keep. Make it happen instead and for that a vision board is a great idea! 🙂
